I’ve been waiting to announce the reissue of this book since mid-October when I uploaded the newly-revised book to Amazon, B&N, and Kobo. Waiting, because I wanted it to be marked free at all sites before I announced it. Well. Hmm. Let’s blame this one on Mercury Retrograde, shall we?
The book uploaded to Amazon and Kobo. But B&N had some issues and it STILL hasn’t uploaded there. Anyway, at Kobo it’s free! Go get it! I’m so happy it’s free somewhere. But Amazon? Urg. I sent out a newsletter telling everyone to go to Amazon and let them know the book was priced free at Kobo, hoping Amazon would price match. (So you know, we authors cannot post a book free at Amazon. It is at Amazon’s discretion to mark things to free and price match.) So…the book actually did go free–and I sent out another newsletter to tell everyone thanks and to go grab it–and then the book reverted back to $3.99 in less than a few hours. What? I seriously have no explanation for why that happened. I’ve emailed Amazon. They said they’d look into it. And now, well, they are ignoring my emails. I am truly sorry. I tried very hard to make this work, but I’m not sure how to get Amazon to cooperate. All I can do now is cross my fingers that eventually the algorithyms will price match the book automatically. So for now, you can get the book free at Kobo. I believe they only offer an epub version.
Kind of took all the fun out of releasing this story that I LOVE and the hero is sexy and smart, and the heroine is a quirk of a witch who gets entangled in a weird faery dust drug ring. I wrote this story when I was watching Breaking Bad. My idea was what if vampires broke bad? Ha! This is the result. I hope you enjoy it.
