The Witch’s Quest is available today in digital format at your favorite online retailer and in paperback format at Harlequin.com. This is the second story in my mini-series The Decadent Dames. (But remember, all my stories are stand-alones; they can be read in any order. I simply gave this a series title because each of the heroines all work together in a local brewery). This is an adventurous story that follows the hero and heroine on a quest across the world, and I had a lot of fun writing it. I have a few favorite scenes, but when you get to the ‘inappropriate’ scene, you’ll know that was a fun one for me, as well as the one where Valor offers “What could possibly go wrong?”
Blurb: The witch’s redemption…
Kelyn Saint-Pierre always had a bit of a thing for Valor Hearst. But after he makes a harrowing sacrifice to save the tomboyish witch from a gruesome death, Kelyn’s certain that any spark between them is gone forever.
Valor wishes she’d known about Kelyn’s crush before she ruined everything. There may be a way she can repay her smoking-hot champion…but it won’t be easy. Circling the globe on a dangerous mission that pits them against deadly magics and dark creatures, Kelyn and Valor are pushed scorchingly close together. But surrendering to passion may only further bind them in pain…

Hi! Today is a book birthday for my latest story in the Elite Crimes Unit series, THE FORGER. I hope you’ll enjoy this one as much as The Thief. All the paintings mentioned in this story have a special meaning to me (and I have a few hanging on my walls; copies of course, no forgeries). And if you’re interested in some of the photos that inspired this story do stop by my Pinterest page!
When Interpol’s covert behind-the-scenes Elite Crimes Unit looks for new talent, they recruit someone who knows all the tricks—and sometimes a troublemaker is exactly who’s needed for the job…
Olivia Lawson’s bosses at Scotland Yard don’t take her work very seriously. Art and antiquities? Bor-ing! But her latest investigation, at London’s world-renowned Tate, is turning out to be far more explosive than anyone expected. In fact, the vandalized, booby-trapped painting hanging on the gallery wall would have blown her off her feet if it wasn’t for the tall, dark-haired stranger who tackled her at the last second—a stranger as finely sculpted as any masterpiece in the museum.
Ethan Maxwell is working this case for the Elite Crimes Unit because it was a choice between that and lockup. A (barely) reformed art forger, he’s got the expertise to lead Olivia through a dangerous manhunt. But the crime may have a more personal connection to him—and the all-too-real feelings he’s developing toward Olivia could pull her into the line of fire too . . .
You can buy this book in digital or paperback format at Amazon, or your favorite online retailer.
I have another new release in my world of Beautiful Creatures. TAMING THE HUNTER is currently available at all online retailers, and will be in paperback form in bricks and mortar stores in June (it will be bundled with Linda Thomas-Sundstrom’s Angel Unleashed). This is the first of a 3-book mini-series, though as with all my Beautiful Creatures stories, you can read them in any order. You don’t have to read one to understand the next. Yes, a few character arcs may continue through the next story, but not in any significance that you should ever feel as if you’ve missed something. Promise! I will always tell you if you need to read one story before another. And that has happened only once or twice with Beautiful Creatures so far.
Here’s the blurb:
Passion and danger in this life—and the next
Eryss Norling knows that she has lived through many lives. And she knows that she has had the same lover across the ages. But where is he now? After performing a summoning spell, she meets Dane Winthur. Yes, he’s gorgeous, but he’s also a scientist devoted to debunking the paranormal. How can he love a witch? And why are these two drawn to each other over and over? The answer to these questions is nothing that either of them could imagine. The fate that brings them together, life after life, is the fate that may destroy them—again.

THE THIEF is available today, and these are the places where you can buy it:
I know you can get digital at all places. You can buy the paperback at Amazon, but not sure about the other retailers.
But this is the fun thing I want you all to have today! I made a one-page printable pdf of my backlist titles that you can print up and keep handy. Mark off the titles you’ve read, and see how many you have left to find. I’ve included all my titles through the end of this year, so there are a few titles that will (hopefully) whet your appetite for more.
I’m so excited for THE THIEF, which is released in April. RTBookReviews really liked it and gave it a Top Pick! This will be available digitally or in paperback format (which you can pre-order now). Here’s the review:
Hauf’s story is chock-full of non-stop action and excitement as both characters constantly try to escape one another and the bad guys. The action of the story is an equal partner to the romance. Hauf does a particularly nice job with characterization. Xavier is a supremely sexy thief, and his attraction to former thief Josephine is hot. Josephine is quite well-drawn as a strong woman who’s not afraid to go after what she wants. Their mutual attraction rings quite true.
Former jewel thief Josephine Deveraux lives in the French countryside until her past comes to haunt her in the form of an ex-boyfriend who catnaps her pet in order to force her to steal a necklace for him. But when she attempts the steal, she discovers that Xavier Lambert, a thief formerly known as The Fox but who now works for the Elite Crimes Unit, has gotten there before her, and she must steal the necklace from him. Things get even more complicated when the two learn the necklace has the key to releasing a chemical agent in Paris that will kill huge numbers of people, and they must work together to stop that from happening. (KENSINGTON, Apr., 320 pp., $15.00)

I’ve been working with Tina Folsom over the past few months to write the 5th in her Venice Vampyr series, WICKED SEDUCTION! Had a really great time writing in Tina’s world, and I hope those of you who have read the series will give this one a try. It’s available March 14th, and will be in digital format at most online retailers. Pre-Orders links coming soon!
Venice, Italy – early 1800s
Vampire Marcello Sebastiani has enough on his plate with the city of Venice demanding his birth records to prove ownership of his centuries-old palazzo. The last thing he needs is a headstrong yet delicate Englishwoman bulldozing her way into his life and manipulating his every action. No matter how delectable she may be.
Jane Emery has fled an abusive situation in hopes of pursuing her musical studies, but when she arrives in Italy, she finds that her patron has passed, leaving her desperate and lost. Thankfully, she is able to coerce a handsome yet mysterious stranger into helping her. Only her machinations don’t take into consideration his tantalizing touches that make her forget her plans and dream of a future she shouldn’t.
When Jane’s past catches up to her, Marcello is determined to protect the one thing that has come to mean more to him than his own life. But will he be successful, or will the dark force that seeks Jane have better aim?
This is for writers… Do you keep lists? Like lists of names you might use someday in a story? Lists of conflicts or careers or even genre mashups you want to try? What about bits of overheard conversations you want to fit into a story?
What happens when you try to find those lists? I can never seem to find the right list when I need it. I wanted a little notebook that could compile all the lists into one. Something small I can keep in my purse or tuck next to my laptop, to keep it close. So I made one!
Inside you’ll find blank pages with prompts for lists including: Hero/heroine names, villain names, last names, pets and names, playlists, hobbies, dialogue, opening lines, weapons, words to use, endings, etc. It’s a slim volume, but you make it yours but filling it up!
